COMMITTEE MEETINGS
GBO OLDTIMER BIGBAND

An evening of music from our new twin town of Bad Hersfeld in Germany.
On Friday 3rd October, at 7pm, Malmesbury Abbey will resound to the sounds of Swing, Jazz, Pop and Film favourites; performed by the ‘BGO Oldtimer Big Band’ from Bad Hersfeld.
The band members are all former students of Helgo Hahn, the conductor, who has been the music teacher at Bad Hersfeld High School for many years. They come from all over Germany to rehearse in Bad Hersfeld several times a year and play regularly at the Bad Hersfeld Jazz Festival and Festspiele as well as touring regularly.
We are delighted to welcome them to Malmesbury.
Try some sample recordings from the BGO Oldtimer Big Band!
