VE Day 80th Anniversary - Proclamation

Councillor Phil Exton was joined by fellow Councillors outside the town hall this morning, to read the VE Day 80th Anniversary Proclamation which initiate's the VE 80 Day's proceedings.

Cllr Exton was also joined by the Mace Bearer, Stephen Caygill and Charles Vernon representing the Royal British Legion who read the names of the fallen.

Please join us at 8.30pm at Cuckingstool Mead where the lighting of the Beacon will take place at 9.30pm.
