Dinner and talk by historian Dr John McCormack, brought to you by the Thomas Hobbes of Malmesbury Society
“Dr. John McCormick is a political theorist who writes about Thomas Hobbes and his ideas, often in the context of international relations and political philosophy. He has explored Hobbes's influence on political thought, including comparisons with other thinkers like John Locke, and examined how Hobbes's concepts, particularly regarding the need for a strong central authority, apply to modern political and economic integration.”

MALMESBURY
MALMESBURY is a vibrant, market town, steeped in history going back to medieval times. Attractions to visit include the stunning 12th century Malmesbury Abbey, 15th century Market Cross and the Athelstan Museum with a painting of Malmesbury Abbey by JMW Turner. There are also lovely walks along the River Avon.
