Temporary Closure of: C68 (Part), Malmesbury and St Paul Malmesbury Without (Ref: TTRO 9471).  This Order will come into operation on 28 May 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 3 days.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: C68 (Part), Malmesbury and St Paul Malmesbury Without; from its junction with Dark Lane to its junction with Common Road.

To enable: Wessex Water to carry out installation of anti climb measures to Wessex Water asset attached to the bridge and associated works.

Alternative route: via Common Road – A429 – B4042 – B4040 – Dark Lane and vice versa

 The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
