Road Closure Hankerton - 92 (Part), Hankerton; from its junction with C98 to its junction with C83 - 27th April to 28th August 2026

Temporary Closure of: C92 (Part), Hankerton (Ref: TTRO 11293)


Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:


C92 (Part), Hankerton; from its junction with C98 to its junction with C83.  To enable: Wessex Water Services Limited to carry out water main replacement scheme and other associated works.


Alternative route 1: via C98 – B4040 – A429 – C92 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
Alternative route 2: via C83 – C76 – C92 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.


This Order will come into operation on 27 April 2026 and the closure will be required for until
28 August 2026.

Alternative route 2 will be required from 28 April 2026 for 3 days and then on 09 May 2026 for 3 days It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The
Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
