Cuckingstool Mead

Managed by Malmesbury Town Council, this beautiful, natural and unspoiled green space has two picnic benches.

In 2013 Malmesbury Town Council registered Cuckingstool Mead as a QEII 'Field in Trust', along with the neighbouring St. Aldhelm's Mead and which has given lasting protection for this space to remain as a free, open recreational area in the Town.

In June 2022 to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Malmesbury Town Council along with many other locations across the country, celebrated with the lighting of a beacon especially made for the occasion.  The Beacon is currently in Cuckingstool Mead.
