On 21st October 2023, DEFRA published the government’s response to the second consultation regarding consistency in household and business recycling in England.  The government’s plan and the future implications of the Environment Act 2021 will no doubt have a far-reaching impact on Wiltshire, and other local authorities. Please find enclosed a briefing summarising the key points arising from this response and how it will affect household and business recycling in England.
