Rural Crime Toolkit

Rural Crime Toolkit

Wiltshire Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson and his PCC counterparts in Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, Avon and Somerset and Gloucestershire have come together to launch a survey to explore how crime is affecting rural communities.

They are hoping the survey will help them to understand how their county's rural communities are affected by crime in the South West.

The survey asks rural residents if they have been the victim of any crimes in the last 12 months as well as asking what rural crimes concern them the most.

MALMESBURY

Malmesbury is a beautiful town to visit in its own right and attractions include the jewel in our crown being Malmesbury Abbey, the fabulous Abbey House Gardens, and Malmesbury’s 15th century Market Cross.

For more than two and a half millennia successive generations have populated this hilltop, which forms the centre of the community we now call Malmesbury.
