People aged over 34 can now book their COVID-19 vaccine
The NHS continues to roll out the COVID-19 vaccination to more eligible people.
In England, the COVID-19 vaccine is being offered in some hospitals and pharmacies, at local centres run by GPs and at larger vaccination centres. More centres are opening all the time.
It's now being given to:
•people aged 34 and over
•people who will turn 34 before 1 July 2021
•people at high risk from COVID-19 (clinically extremely vulnerable)
•people who live or work in care homes
•health and social care workers
•people with a condition that puts them at higher risk (clinically vulnerable)
•people with a learning disability
•people who are a main carer for someone at high risk from COVID-19
As of 20 May, a total 466,441 vaccinations have been administered in Wiltshire (this doesn't include Swindon).
International Travel: Traffic Light System
There have been changes to the guidance around international travel. A traffic light system has been put in place.
You should not travel to any countries on the red or amber list, but we know there are some circumstances where people need to travel, for example for work or medical purposes.
If you do plan to travel for any reason, please do so safely. Plan your journey as far in advance as possible and make plans in case you or someone you are travelling with becomes unwell.
