Inspired by the Flying Monk Art Trail, the Town Council are looking for an artist to create a package of 5 images for use on souvenirs that will go on sale in our Tourist Information Centre in the Town Hall.

We would like 5 views of the town or images that represent Malmesbury, and we’d like pictures to be approx. A4 in size, but scalable (for use on either postcards, bags or tea towels, for example).

The Community and Town Promotion committee has a budget of £500 to pay for the artwork and would like complete ownership of the original images.

If you are interested in this opportunity to have your artwork representing Malmesbury to visitors (you will be credited, of course), then please email a sample of your artwork, along with a brief description of the 5 images/scenes/sketches you would produce, to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by 31st of October 2017 or contact the Tourist Information Office in the Town Hall - Tel: 01666 823748│Fax: 01666 826166.

The community and Town Promotion committee will select an artist on the basis of the sample that has been submitted and will notify artists by Friday 3rd of November.
