WILTSHIRE COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ACT 2004 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (MALMESBURY AND MALMESBURY WITHOUT) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, TAXI RANK CLEARWAYS AND ON STREET PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Malmesbury and Malmesbury Without Consolidation Order 2010 with amendment No.1 and re-enacting it in the above Order for administrative purposes, and to include addition restrictions as follows:

1. To introduce No waiting at any time on the following lengths of roads:

Bristol Street – north side – from a point 54 metres south west of its junction with
Bremilham Road for a distance of 33 metres in a westerly direction
Burnham Road – north side – from its junction with Pool Gastons Road for a
distance of 20 metres south west of that junction
Burnham Road – south side - from its junction with Pool Gastons Road for a
distance of 17 metres south west of that junction
Dark Lane – north east side – from its junction with Bristol Street for a distance of
15 metres south east of that junction
Hodge Lane – south side – from its junction with St Aldhelm Road for a distance of
5 metres north east of that junction
Old Railway Closeboth sides – from its junction with Webbs Way for a distance
of 5 metres east of that junction
Pool Gastons Road – both sides – from its junction with Burnham Road for a
distance of 12 metres south west of that junction
Reeds Farm Road – north side – from a point 27 metres west of its junction with
Webbs Way to a point 17 metres east of that junction
St Aldhelm Road- north east side – from its junction with Pool Gaston Road for a
distance of 24 metres to its junction with Hodge Lane
St Aldhelm Road – south west side – from its junction with Pool Gaston Road for a
distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction
Webbs Way – both sides from its junction with Reeds Farm Road to a point 12
metres north of its junction with Old Railway Close

2. To extend existing No Waiting at any time on the following lengths of roads:

Bristol Street – south side – from a point 12 metres south west of its junction with
Bremilham Road for a distance of 67 metres to its junction with Dark Lane
Orchard Court – both sides – from a point 6 metres north of its junction with Arches
Lane to a point 36 metres north of that junction
St Johns Street – east side – from a point 57 metres north of its junction with High
Street for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction

3. To introduce No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm on the following length of
road:

Reeds Farm Road – south side – from a point 27 metres west of its junction with
Webbs Way to a point 17 metres east of that junction

Deposit copies of the Order, plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge during normal office hours. Details of the proposed scheme may be seen at Malmesbury Library, Cross Hayes, Malmesbury during the hours of 2pm to 7pm Monday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday and Wednesday, 9.30am to 7pm Friday and 9.30am to 1pm Saturday from 9th February until 6th March 2017.
