Formerly The Council Chamber is situated on the first floor and is the room in which the council conducts its business.
The Malting Hall is also the perfect venue for business meetings, evening dinner parties and training sessions for up to twentyfive participants.
We anticipate gaining a civil wedding licence for the Town Hall by 2009 at which time the chamber will make the perfect venue in which to conduct a civil wedding or partnership ceromony for up to 30 seated guests.
Immediately adjoining the Council Chamber is the Hobbes Palour, a room which is perfect as a break out room or luncheon facility for business meetings or training sessions held in the Chamber.
The Hobbes Parlour also makes the perfect anti-room in which the bride can prepare herself before entering the rear of the Chamber and processing between her guests to meet her future partner.
